Our Mission
To develop a research model for the conservation, management, and restoration of the biodiversity, ecosystems and ecological processes of the Mesoamerican tropical rain forests. The Ecological Reserve El Edén A. C. for 14 years has offered the services of using its station, logistical support and trained personnel to various research institutions, teaching, and specialized tourism, both domestic and foreign.

El Edén Ecological Reserve participated in the preparation of chapter ten for this book.
The title of the chapter is; ¨Successful Experiences in Promoting Scientific Research in Mexican Conservation Biology¨. This chapter describes two private projects that promote and support scientific research in conservation biology in Mexico. One of the projects is based on the Ecological Reserve El Edén.
El Eden Ecological Reserve was recognized in 2010 as one of the 100 cases of success in the field of conservation and good management of our natural heritage.
